Where to Go, and How to Get There

The Conference will be held at Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, in San Angelo, Tx.

Friday, we will be touring Miss Hattie's Bordello Museum, and for those who choose to, we will have supper there. {You must pay for your meal.}  From what I understand, these rooms were closed off in the early 20th century, and left untouched for decades.  That is only what I've heard, but we'll find out for sure, on that Friday Tour.

There are several businesses on Concho that offer a wonderful shopping experience.
Eggemeyers is across the street from Miss Hatties, and has the old post office boxes.
Concho Confetti is a 'flea market' style of thrift shop, filled with antiques and a wide range of pricing.
If you drive around down town San Angelo, you can see a wide variety of Historical Murals on the walls of buildings.
Two blocks over from Fort Concho-on Chadbourne Street, is the Railroad Museum.
